I am alive!

So I have completely neglected this blog while pregnant, here are a few things I have been crafting
I made yummy sugar coral for topping my baby shower cupcakes

For Christmas I made a lion pillow buddy

I've also been in a hat trance I have made like 6 hats this winter

This is Sam's favorite teddy bear hat

Here is our new baby Colten with his new hat

And I made a car seat blanket for Colten so cute!
I have a bunch of new things I am working on so I will try to be better with posting, if anyone is still checking the blog out let me know and I will post tutorials if you want them.

A baby boy!

We found out today we are going to be having a baby boy come January, this has sturred up the crafty bug in me which has been VERY lazy lately. Heres a list of things I want to make:

For Christmas Presents for Sam and Hubby:

Christmas tie
A new snow hat
A tool belt

Before the baby comes I would like to make:

A winter hat for the baby
Ties for the baby and Sam that match
A car seat blanket
Cute Hats
Large swaddeling blankets
Church quiet book

Well see what I really get done, between working and potty training I dont have much time left for crafting, wish me luck on my goals and I'll post what I make.

Shirts for Sam!

I started decorating shirts for Sam. Here are the three I've done so far, first a GOOB shirt, its a nick name we have around the hosue. I used a bleach pen and freezer paper to block the letters.

Then I made a Cool Dude shirt, bleach pen on the side then freezer paper and fabric paint for the letters. The last one is a Big Brother shirt, as we found out we are pregnant I just did freezer paper and fabric paint. I love how they have turned out and cant wait to do some more!

Releif Society Birthday

Here is the cake I made, loved how the flavors turned out, it was my first time making chocolate marshmellow fondant and it turned out great, it was a little hard to roll out though.

And we are back in Oregon so yes those are rain drops on my cake!

GreenCraft

I have been featured in the new magazine GreenCraft by Stampington & Company. I was in two pages of the second volume released this month on pages 22 and 132!!! It is so exciting for me I have never been published an anything before. The magazine is a little spendy but had tons of great ideas I hope to try out very soon. You can check out Stampington & Company to order magazines or to check out the many others they have as well. I was featured for my refashioned baby sweatshirt I made for Sammy and they quoted me on another. I am hoping to start more crafting very soon as I have been on a big break due to moving. I have lots of new projects coming up so stay tuned!
